A classy restaurant with superb service from Nick and marvelous fillet mignon! Not for the bargain Hunter though. We always have a great meal at Flemings but this visit was especially good. It began with our excellent waiter, Brendon—whose section you should ask to sit it to receive top-notch service—and continued throughout our delicious meal. My filet was tender, perfectly cooked, and tasted delicious. Everyone at the table kept exclaiming how delicious everything was.
It was super bright and freezing. Felt like I was at Outback. Also, without ever meeting me, saying hi, looking at the reservation, etc. I brushed it off but that could absolutely go very sideways for some customers. Could he Covid which would make sense but just listing it here. Poor service. I love the hospitality, the speed of the waitstaff and busers!
They are very on point and welcoming! Fantastic meal and service. Bailey was outstanding. Excellent way to celebrate an anniversary. Management came to the table, overall service was top notch, and the food was great. Highly recommend. As expected, the service and food was spot on and very professional. Will dine at this Flemings again for another special occasion. Sat on the patio which was lovely but shortly after we ordered another couple arrived with their dog. We love dogs but given the formal occasion of our celebration this detracted from the ambience.
My wife and I went for lunch and sat in their outdoor area, which was calm and beautiful. Service was provided by Megan who was attentive and friendly. Food came out perfectly paced since we ordered from their fall pre-fix menu.
Started with a salad which was well balanced with different flavors in every bite, medium cooked petite fillet mignon, and for dessert a date pudding cake which was surprisingly delicious. We enjoyed every dish and would definitely recommend to others. We celebrated our daughters 19th birthday and enlistment into the Army National Guards! Everyone made her feel extra special Flemmings did not disappoint from staff to food all was perfect!!!
Thank you Flemmings Newport! Outdoor seating was anything but. Stuffy air under umbrellas with little fresh air. Not a pleasant experience. My filet was supposed to be medium rare but was over cooked and well done. Waste of money and food was meh at best. We went there for our 30th anniversary. The service and food was excellent!! Service was incredible as well as the food.
Excellent as always , Jeffrey is the best of the best, and we miss Enrique! Highly recommended. Very nice birthday. My son loves steak and Flemings is his fave. Sam, our server was great also. I liked the birthday candle on the happy birthday plate too. Our waiter Carlo was amazing he went above and beyond the food was very good overall great experience thank you for a great evening!
Relaxing and sophisticated at the same time. Made a reservation and were greeted and seated immediately. Took forever to get our drink and food orders. As our server was delivering our salads on the left side of our table the food runner delivered our entrees on the right side…. At the same time!!! What is that?? Ok my husband told them to just leave the food…in the spirit of not ruining the night.
I asked for salt…they brought me an empty shaker…had to wave down someone to get salt. Finished our salad and moved on to the entrees…placed salad plates on the outside of the table which is where they sat throughout our entire dinner.
When I finished my dinner I stacked my dinner plates on top of my salad plate and put them on the side of the table. Employees still just walked by. Any one of these service issues by itself would not have been a problem but the whole thing snowballed into a ridiculously poor experience. This is supposed to be fine dinning but no one there last night had an understanding of what that means.

I personally cannot get enough of these. I am hoping these stay on the menu for a very long time.

They are also placed atop a smoked chili and jalapeno aioli for dipping. They are fried to perfection with a zesty and spicy, sweet chili sauce with slices of fresh red and yellow peppers.
